The Presidential Palace expects conditions in the country to remain conducive after MKMK reads the verdict on the alleged ethical violation of judges in ruling the requirements for presidential and vice presidential candidates.
"We want good conditions ahead of the general election," Chief of the Presidential Staff (KSP), Moeldoko, remarked at the Presidential Palace Complex here on Monday.
The Honorary Council of the Constitutional Court (MKMK) will read its verdict on Tuesday (November 7) on the alleged violations conducted by judges while deciding on Case No.90/PUU-XXI/2023 on the requirements for presidential and vice presidential candidates.
The case is related to the age limit for presidential and vice presidential candidates to be at least 40 years or have experience as a regional head, both at the provincial and district or city levels.

Moeldoko said, all parties are expected to maintain conduciveness of the national situation at every stage of the elections. He warned not to let the political dynamics this year interfere with national development and interests.
"This is a purely legal issue. We hope that we can together maintain this condition. We oversee this political situation to prevent them from obscuring other issues," he remarked.
According to Moeldoko, the nation is still facing numerous challenges, such as striving to achieve food security amid the global food crisis, fulfilling energy security, and endeavoring to maintain economic stability amid global economic uncertainty.
"We have many national issues. We are facing food and security issues, the global economy, and other things. They are much more important than political issues, which will lead to instability," he stated.
Earlier, MKMK Chairman Jimly Asshiddiqie stated that his side had collected evidence and examined witnesses on 21 reports of alleged violations of ethics by MKMK judges.
