Joko Widodo (Jokowi) picked up Ma'ruf Amin from his house in Jalan Situbondo to deliver an official statement at the Halim Perdanakusuma Airport.
"I picked up Mr. Ma'ruf Amin to (go to) Halim; our statement would be there," President Joko Widodo said, pointing to Halim Perdanakusuma airport direction at the Situbondo house (Amin's residence) in Jakarta on Thursday night.
Currently, the trial over the lawsuit relating to the 2019 Presidential Election is still being read by the Panel of Judges of the Constitutional Court (MK) in the Constitutional Court building. The trial has been going on since 12:30 local time.
President Jokowi visited the residence of his running mate for presidential election, Ma'ruf Amin, at Jalan Situbondo at around 7:30 p.m.
They hitched a sedan with police number B 1925 RFS wearing a long-sleeved white shirt, while Amin wore white Muslim clothes and a sarong motif.
Both of them did not comment, but only smiled and waved to the reporters waiting for them.
Minister of State Secretary Pratikno also accompanied Jokowi at Amin's house.
On Thursday night, the President will depart from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Jakarta, to go to Osaka, Japan, to attend the G20 Summit.
