President-elect Jokowi attends Election Comission's plenary meeting

The newly elected president of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) had arrived at the General Elections Committee (KPU) office in Jakarta on Sunday to attend the plenary meeting for declaring president and vice president-elect  for the period 2019-2024.

Jokowi came with the newly elected vice president K.H. Ma'ruf Amin after the invitation to attend this meeting that was held at 4:30 p.m. local time.

While another candidate of president and vice president Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno were also invited but they did not come. They are only being represented by their witnesses, one of them is Habiburokhman, a member of Prabowo-Sandi's campaign team.
